Section 2

UNIFORM TAPESTRY

Uniform TAPESTRY finishes, either MATTE or Soft MATTE, can be applied to one or both sides of float substrates. Masking devices can be used to leave part of lite clear and transparent, and the process can be applied to mirrored (silver nitrate) glass to provide a diffusing reflection, or to a variety of pyrolitic and vacuum sputtered reflective coated glasses, in order to vary the color and/or intensity of the diffuse reflections.

FIGLA, either within its own plant or in co-operation with selected sub-contractors both in Japan and U.S.A. , can offer tempered (FT), heat soaked, heat strengthened (HS), bent or laminated TAPESTRY glass products. FIGLA has made arrangements with selected U.S. glass fabricators such as J.E. Berkowitz, L.P., and Dlubak Corporation to provide these services locally.

FIGLA treats each job related inquiry as an opportunity to offer custom feasibility design and engineering studies and pricing, so it will not attempt to compete with the marketers of ordinary sandblasted or ceramic frit products. Small samples of either finish are freely available to customers or architects with job related inquiries. larger samples to meet individual requirements can be quickly prepared and shipped by agreement.
