ECOSS MULTI GLASS SYSTEM

The Ecoss MGS glass panel is capable of 3 distinct functions:

The MGS panel allows you to directly write on the surface with a specially designed marker for MGS (*can also be used with any water-soluble marker). Unlike a traditional whiteboard where marker stain becomes permanent over prolonged use, the MGS panel will never leave stains and guaranteed to be completely erasable.

The MGS panel can also be used a projection screen. It supports both front and rear projection and is not subject to wear and tear associated with traditional projection screens. It also boasts a superior image quality compared to the old counter part.

You can make MGS magnetic by attaching a thin copper plate to the back of the panel. Rear projection is not capable with this option.

Not Just A Piece Of Glass

Figla is a manufacturer of the finest quality architectural glass in the industry. That means that the MGS panel is industrial strength coupled with the renowned aesthetics of Figla. It will last forever and provide you with serene beauty even when not in use.

The unique quality of the MGS panel is provided by the use of a special surface treatment pioneered by Figla. Traditionally, frosted glass has been subject to the same problem found in whiteboards. Dirt and stain eventually becomes pemanent. The "frosted" effect is achieved through a process called "sand-blasting". This process creates a rough texture on the surface of the glass thereby creating the "frosted" look. Unfortunately sand-blasting alone leaves the surface too rough and hence dirt becomes trapped in the valleys and peaks of the surface.

Figla introduced the "acid wash" technique. After the glass has been sand-blasted it goes through another process where the surface is bathed in hydroflouric and other acids. This process relieves the "permanent stain" problem by effectively smoothing out the overly rough surface created by sand-blasting. Now the dirt never gets trapped and the glass will remain clean forever. This technique also removes any glare from the surface of the glass.
